Do Competitions Really Work to Address Global Health Challenges?

mHealth has great potential to address global mobile health challenges, however, potential doesn?t save lives. There needs to be appropriate initiative to allow the potential to be fulfilled. One emerging trend that seems to be gaining momentum is the use of competitions and innovation grants to spur mHealth innovation.
